 Birth place: Lawrenceville, GA Family: Married to Mike since 1991; Jonathan born in '96 and Melanie in '98, 2 sisters, 1 brother. How did you first start coming to LBC? We were looking for a church with an active preschool & children's program, so we consulted the minutes booklet the N.Ga. Baptist Association publishes to see church statistics. (Honest!) What is one thing that you love about LBC? Awana! What do you love most about working for LBC? The family friendly work envoronment; if I couldn't have the flexibility that allows me to stay involved in my children's school life, I would not be working at all. I love what I do here at Liberty and I feel like I have the best of both worlds. Who is the most influential person in your life? My husband; I have a tendency not to "bend" for anyone else. What inspires you? Deadlines. Do you write with your right or left hand? Right Any hidden talents? uh....if I said them, they wouldn't stay "hidden", would they? Life long Goal: to open a bookstore Little known fact about me: When I was in the 1st grade, I wanted to be a firefighter, but only because my teacher told me that girls can't do that! Favorite Bible Verse: Isaiah 40:31: "Those who hope in the Lord will renew their strength. They will soar on wings like eagles; they will run and not grow weary, they will walk and not be faint." |
