When you arrive on campus... ...park at the front of the building in our visitor parking lot. Our greeting team will be on the lookout for you. Our welcome center is located inside the front of our sanctuary. Any of our greeters will be pleased to show you around campus, help you find a Sunday school class or a place for your children as well as answer any questions you may have about Liberty.
As you enter the Sanctuary... ...ushers are available to assist you with any needs or questions you may have before, during and after the service.
During each service... ...we take time to welcome our first time guests, but don't worry, we don't point you out, put you on the spot or call you to the front! We simply are thrilled to have you with us, and will offer you any information you may like about Liberty. We publish a Bulletin each Sunday in which you will find a Connection Card where we will ask you a few questions about yourself. We just want to take that opportunity to get to know you a little better and get a record of your visit with us. You can complete as much information as you feel comfortable and pass it to the left at the end of the service. The pastor or staff member will give the whole church directions. We ask everyone in the building to fill it out each week.
Our worship services... We offer you two opportunities to worship with us on Sunday mornings: 9:00 and 11:00. We have a choir, praise team and other talented musicians and singers that rotate leading the praise and worship. Our senior pastor, Joel Southerland delivers the sermon. Joel is energetic, creative and genuine, and presents God's Word with passion as he relates it to your Real Life. Our goal in each service is to glorify God and worship Him with our whole hearts and minds as one big loving family.

How do I get to Liberty Baptist Church? We are located at 4439 Tibbs Bridge Road Dalton, GA. View the Map & Directions page.
How far in advance should I arrive? We recommend you arrive approximately 15 minutes ahead of the service you are attending, especially if you have children you would like to take to Kid's Worship or Sunday School.
What should I wear? At Liberty we know that God cares about our hearts, not what style of clothing we choose to wear. But since you asked, most people come in business casual attire, but you'll see a few suits and ties as well as jeans. We just want you to come in whatever you feel comfortable wearing.
What do you have for my children to do? Childcare is provided for infants to 4 year olds during all services. Children 5 years old to 5th grade have Sunday school at 10:00 and Kids' Worship at 9:00 & 11:00. On Wednesday nights during the school year, children may attend AWANA activities that begin at 6:30 p.m. and end at 8:00 p.m. During the summer, we have Children's Activities in the MPR from 6:30-7:30.
We know your children are precious to you, so we provide a safe, clean and secure environment for them to enjoy. All of our children's workers go through background checks before serving in our Children's ministry. It is our pleasure to minister to your children!
Are you open if there's bad weather? In instances of bad weather, if it is safe for you to make the drive to church, we want you to know that we are here, ready to worship with you. But please, never put yourself or others in danger to drive in unsafe weather.
