Covid-19 Precautions

As we gradually and carefully transition back into in-person services at our campuses, what precautions is Liberty taking in response to the pandemic?

Information:

  • At the outset our pastor appointed a team of medical professionals to help gather information, offer advice and counsel concerning decisions.
  • We are monitoring national, state, and local updates as well as CDC guidelines.
  • We have implemented the latest recommendations from the Governor’s office and health department.
  • We have adopted the guidelines developed by the Georgia Baptist Convention as a set of standards for reopening.

Procedures and Precautions:

  • Services will have attendance limitations at each campus based on the size of the building, providing enough space for every family to be 6ft apart from others. We ask that you maintain a 6ft distance from others at all times and do not engage in physical greetings for now.
  • Temperature checks will be taken at the door.
  • Everyone over the age of 12 is asked to wear a mask inside the building at all times, with the exception of our worship team while on stage. (Update as of 6/28: Masks may removed once seated in sanctuary but must be worn when moving about)
  • We have increased airflow inside the facility.
  • Childcare and children’s services as well as small group meetings have resumed but with capacity limits for each room.
  • Touch points such as paper bulletins, offering plates, and Connection Cards will not be used. Digital formats of each are now available on our app, LBCEngage, and our website.
  • All surfaces such as door handles, countertops, and bathrooms will be sanitized regularly. Sanctuary seating will sanitized following each service.
  • Hand sanitizing stations will be accessible in all open areas.
  • We ask that everyone exits the building immediately after dismissal and does not linger in the foyer.
  • Please do not enter the building if you have been sick or exposed to someone who has been diagnosed or suspected to have Covid-19 within the last two weeks.
  • Anyone who may be at high risk or immunocompromised is encouraged to join us for our online services available on Facebook and Youtube.
