Covid-19 Precautions

As we gradually and carefully transition back into in-person services at our campuses, what precautions is Liberty taking in response to the pandemic?

Information:

  • At the outset our pastor appointed a team of medical professionals to help gather information, offer advise and counsel concerning decisions.
  • We are monitoring national, state, and local updates as well as CDC guidelines.
  • We have implemented the latest recommendations from the Governor’s office and health department.
  • We have adopted the guidelines developed by the Georgia Baptist Convention as a set of standards for reopening.

Procedures and Precautions:

  • Services will have attendance limitations at each campus based on the size of the building, providing enough space for every family to be 6ft apart from others. We ask that you maintain a 6ft distance from others at all times and do not engage in physical greetings for now.
  • Attenders are asked to reserve a spot for weekly services on Eventbrite to maintain capacity limits.
  • Temperature checks will be taken at the door.
  • Everyone over the age of 12 is asked to wear a mask inside the building at all times, with the exception of our worship team while on stage.
  • Bathrooms will be limited to one person at a time and will be sanitized after each use.
  • Childcare and children’s services as well as small group meetings have been suspended at this time. Online options for Life Groups and the DOCK are available.
  • Children must remain with a parent at all times.
  • Touch points such as paper bulletins, offering plates, and Connection Cards will not be used. Digital formats of each are now available on our app, LBCEngage, and our website.
  • All surfaces such as door handles, countertops, and bathrooms will be sanitized regularly. Sanctuary seating will sanitized following each service.
  • Hand sanitizing stations will be accessible in all open areas.
  • Attenders will be dismissed from the service systematically to prevent overcrowding while exiting the building.
  • We ask that everyone exits the building immediately after dismissal and does not linger in the foyer.
  • Please do not enter the building if you have been sick or exposed to someone who has been diagnosed or suspected to have Covid-19 within the last two weeks.
  • Anyone who may be at high risk or immunocompromised is encouraged to join us for our online services available on Facebook and Youtube.
  • Altar response will be handled through our app and follow-up by phone from one of our staff.
